Lots of birthdays around now...some past, some coming soon...a quick Happy Birthday to: chris: jan 17, brian: jan 23, amanda arnold: jan 23, katie: jan 24, liz and james: jan 25, sarah: jan 30, brandon: feb 1, lindsey: feb 3, and michael: feb 19. (dont worry trav...i didnt forget you...but its a month away, i'll post a special one for you! :) whew...now that all those are out there. so many winter birthdays! its cool though...get them all done with now so all attention can be focused on ME in summer. :)
I have been spoiled lately. I have gotten to talk to Jonathan every day on the phone since he left, which doesnt allow for much time grieving his absence, and I have talked to Austin every day online since friday! thats incredible. apparently it is/was a religious holiday and the Iraqis he trains were celebrating so he hasnt worked in a while. this morning (or yesterday morning, depending on how you look at it) he went back to work for a few hours and said "it was exciting...there were gun shots!" hmm...doesnt sound too thrilling to me! I guess thats why I'm here and he's there. My stomach bug is gone, my bookstore difficulties are being ironed out, and work is beginning to calm down. its great! Like i said...i can feel it...this semester is gonna be awesome!
i found a plane ticket to go see jonathan for so cheap! i'm pumped! cheapest and possibly best spring break yet! :) even if cali isnt better than it was last year, there's always austin back in texas to come home to...so I'm pretty sure this spring break will top them all. (minus the painful detail of me getting a needle poked in my back millions of times...and PAYING for it as a form of body art...ouch!)
i better get going...dont really have anything to say and running on less than 4 hours of sleep. have a wonderful hump day! bye!!!
