After much complaint I've decided to update my blog. Now be quiet you crazies! J/k...sorry I've been unfaithful to you! :)
Not a whole lot happened this week...class, sleep, work...ya know, the usual. Thursday night I did actually get to go out which was nice. Alexis, Patty and I went to the Hall for a while. It was fun to go and hang out, and we ran into a friend from work so I chatted with him for a while. Friday I was a bumb and while my roommates were having a blast til like 5 am, I went to sleep at 10! I was so exhausted from the week. Funny that I say nothing happened this week yet I was exhausted. I guess I blocked it all out. Saturday was perfect...weather was incredible, Aggies won (though AGAIN it shouldnt have been that close...where was my offensive line?!?! reggie and t-murph need ya guys!), and Saturday night I went to sleep fairly early (considering it was saturday night) Yesterday was spent studying for oceanography and not-studying at Barnes and Noble with Alexis.
We did read a book called "what type are you" where we found I am an ESTJ and Alexis is an INFP. Each letter stands for one thing and you have 2 options. Extroverting or Introverting, Sensing or iNtuiting, Thinking or Feeling, Judging or Percieving. Basically...we are exact opposites. (as if living together last year didnt show us that!) It was quite funny...there were sections of the book called "how to deal with thinkers" and "how to deal with feelers" The funny part was that we dont ever do what it recommended. It told her type that they should appreciate my need for organization, allow for some form of a regimented schedule, PUT THINGS BACK WHERE YOU FOUND THEM :), etc. It told me to allow her to make decisions, listen to her ideas (as indecisive as they may be), etc. Good thing we are both good sports about it cause if not...theoretically our friendship should never have made it this far. guess we proved all that psychology nonsense wrong! It was a pretty cool book though...cool enough for alexis to buy! (and i showed her a pink pen at the counter where she then decided to buy it...i told the cashier she is easily bought and he said "look, godiva" and so then she grabbed a godiva bar. ah...alexis...)
and here we are. monday morning, far too early, yet my exam seems to be coming far too soon. I know very little about longshore currents, wetlands, estuaries, and the formation of emerging shorelines. Again I tell you, this is NOT what I was looking for when I signed up for this class. Next semester when I take finance, economic development, french, chemistry, and english...lets hope I know what I am getting into. I would also like to apologize to those of you who I sent that stupid survey to...I cant believe I got sucked into it. It was nearly 3 am, I wasnt tired, and oceanography was taking over my mind. I had to do something! If you didnt get it...be thankful I dont have your email address memorized! (i really need to get one of those address book things)
Oh...did I tell you about chicago? well...my mom got a phone call from a bank and there was an unclaimed balance on an account that belonged to my grandma who passed away in 2001. So, my mom and her sister decided it would be the best use of the money for us to spend thanksgiving together this year so my mom, alfredo, and I get to fly to chicago to visit my aunt mandy, uncle leon, chelsea, and jesse! i am SO excited! I havent been to chicago since spring break my senior year of high school. yay for taking trips!
Well, I guess I better go finish learning all this useless information. After my classes I get to go home with baby reagan so he can see his friends dot an milagro (hopefully there will be no hissing this time) and I can see my family. (it was supposed to be a surprise to my mom, but you know me!) Have an awesome week and, if i forget to post before then, happy turkey day!!! btho t.u.!!! WHOOOP
