What does it take to be #1?

My babies are all better! I went to the vet today to have them dewormed and the workers there said my kittens are wild! But, when they got around me they were calm and not afraid! So cute! :) While I was sitting in the waiting room a guy walked in with his puppy. Man, he was so cute! He was tall, dark hair, pretty eyes, and had an adorable puppy! He sat down next to me and said "what are you in for?" trying to be funny :) I said I have 3 kittens and I am getting them dewormed and then we had a convo about how normally we dont like cats, but if we know them their whole lives then they are sweet. blah blah blah. Then i asked about his adorable puppy, agnus or some weird name like that. He is 12 weeks old and was bought at a shelter. He said "When I broke up with my girlfriend I decided to get a puppy cause she hated them and that is what always held me back" so, being the slick person I am, I said "So, does your new girlfriend like him?" And he said "I have a puppy. Thats enough for now" Botta bing botta boom...he's single. :) We chatted a little more about summer school, our home town (yay for houston!) and then it was time for me to go back to my kittens. So, he said "it was really nice to meet you and nice chatting with you" Sadly, he did not ask for my number and my new found love has gone. Alexis claims I was probably not being flirty enough because she says I am not a flirty person...so when we went to Sonic tonight she MADE me give the boy my number! See, when he delivered the food he hit my car with the tray and we started talking, then he took the credit card in the swipe it, then when he walked awauy the last time and siad thanks, i realized I hadnt given him a tip! So, i rang for him to come back for a tip and Alexis said she would only give me $1 if I would give him my number. So, red-faced and embarassed, I handed him my number and $1 and he siad "Thanks, you're so sweet. Here's a couple of cherries for you!" And he brought me out a cup of cherries! How 1st grade is this romance? not to mention he is not cute. but sweet.

Last night I drove out to the woodlands to see The Day After Tomorrow with Jonathan. It was a good movie! Similar to Armageddon and that other one that came out at the same time, but still good. We barely made it in time for the show, but it was good. Afterwards he took me to the camp to show me around and introduce me to the guys. one guy said "hey. I am joey's old woman" I was like "old woman...???" and he was like "yeah...old woman. dont you go to aTm?" "ooooo old lady" lol. is our lingo really THAT confusing? :) I got to see his tent and MAN i dont know how they live in there for 6 weeks! It is like the size of a bathroom! But the whole camp seemed really cool and he sounds like he is having lots of fun!

What else what else...friday is going to be a sad day to say the least. 1.)it is a day of mourning for President Reagan 2.) i am getting my blood drawn 3.) i am saying goodbye to 2 kittens. I still havent decided which 2, but it is sad nevertheless. But, Thursday night is going to rock my socks off so that should make up for it! I am going to my first official rugby practice. how awesome is that? Tonight I played for fun with Kristine and a few of her friends and it was totally awesome! you should all come out to play.

Well, I want to be bright eyed and bushy tailed in the morning (thanks a lot for putting that phrase in my head alexis) so I better go. Oh, public thanks to andi for the awesome post card! it made it on the fridge! :) And stephen...I hope i didnt distract you too much and you got your paper done! :) bonne nuit
