Howdy all! last night I tried to log on and blog, but it wouldnt let me! I thought the world was coming to an end. But, all is well now and I can blog again. :)
I went back to work yesterday after venting through my blog and my away message about the discrimination I receive at work. not real discrimination, the managers just play favorites majorly. I mean, if he doesnt like me personally thats fine...I'm not too crazy about him either. But to give me 2 hours in one week...and have those 2 hours be when I am not even available? Thats just shady. So, I went back to work and stuck out the last 2 hours without having a break down. I am going to turn in my 2 weeks notice either today or tomorrow. I am thinking once I turn it in they will just tell me I can go ahead and go...so I want to get some clothes one more time before I quit! :) We have some awesome stuff right now...so tempting! I dont have money though...this is where I mooch of my mom. :) Andi told me about a job at A&M United Methodist for their day care they have during the week. She said she got a job there 2 summers in a row so she is thinking they will have available jobs...so I am looking into that on Sunday. I also applied at Freebirds and I am going to apply at Cotton Patch. I would love to work at that restaurant! And, if anyone else knows of a job opening, lemme know! Anyhow, after work I came home, played with my baby meatball, and went to michael, randy, derek, and stephen's house to watch a movie. I left early cause I was tired and Jonathan called me on my way home. So, i ended up laying in bed and talking one the phone for an hour! He told me all about the cool stuff they are doing at camp...beats the heck out of getting up early for class! He also said I should go out there one night next week so we can go see The Day After Tomorrow. We'll see about that...that requires gas, which requires money. :) I went to bed around 1 I think. Kittens woke me up today around 9. So cute. So playful. So loud. :)
Also, an update for those of you loyal friends who have been thinking of my family and praying for us. The court date was rescheduled for June 22. Long story as to why, but apparently that is in our favor. So, in 2 weeks I will be testifying in court as to why Emily needs to stay in houston. as if it is even a question. her mother is cruella de ville.
Today i have big plans...studying, working, sleeping! Tomorrow I have to work WHEN I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO BE AVAILABLE and then I am showing my apartment to an interested tenant. She is most likely going to take my lease from me...woo hoo! After that I have nothing all day and will most likely bury my head in my econ book. Then it is back to the grind of classes. The life of a college student. No complaints though...I love college. If i could eliminate the homework, the stress, and the tests it would definitely be better, dont get me wrong...but I love it nonetheless. Here is a bit of my convo with kristine on the topic:
