A call from an old friend always brightens any day...even one thats already pretty bright!!!

I got to talk to Andi today from PARIS! Man, I wish i was there with her! She is living right down the street from the Arc de Triumphe! How awesome is that??? And tomorrow she is taking a bus to another part of france that has a completely different culture and she gets to spend the whole day there! I am so jealous! Hopefully I get more than a paris t-shirt with mustard stains on the front! j/k...inside joke...I'm not really that greedy! a picture of the eiffel tower would suit me just fine!!!

Today i woke up around 10:30 to the sound of Alexis and Alfredo chattin it up in the living room. I got dressed, went to the bank, went to Loupot's for an unsuccessful attempt at getting my books, paid tuition, and went to HEB. When I got home we had lunch, watched some TV, alfredo played golf, and then we went to cheddars for dinner. Today was the first day for their low-carb menu and in this phase of my diet I am supposed to eliminate carbs so I had a steak with coleslaw and brocoli. it was SO delicious! When we came home we watched uptown girls.

Thats about all the excitement going on here...sad, I know! OH...almost forgot...today I went to B&N to get my mom a craft book and saw a book titled "The earth, my butt, and other big round objects" Jonathan said it was JUST for me! :) how mean is that boy? I'm working on down-sizing the tushy department! :)

Lets see, what else...man, this is pretty sad! Not much to say! Well, now that my stress level has decreased I can sound a little more optimistic about our AWESOME trip to sonora and junction! I was telling alfredo one of the many memorable stories...

chris and jonathan wanted some stuff from town (about 15 minutes away) but andi and I didnt want to be left with the fire so we went for them. 45 minutes later we came back and could see the fire from SO far away! we were so scared cause it was HUGE and we thought trees would catch on fire so as we drove up i decided not to park too close so my car wouldnt catch on fire (i know i am a spaz) Well, when we were pulling up we could see chris, staring in amazement at the huge bonfire they had built, and we gathered our stuff to get out of the car. I turned off my lights, put the keys in the cupholder, and climbed out of the car, milkshakes in hand. I ALMOST dropped all of them when Jonathan jumped from behind a bush and grabbed my arms to scare me. I screamed so loud I almost woke her grandma! (her house is quite a ways from where we camped!) Come to find out the fire wasnt really that big, they had just thrown some dried brush on it to ignite bigger flames momentarily to create a diversion so we wouldnt notice jonathan hiding in the bushes. SURE WORKED! Did I mention the deer I saw at 4 am when I just up to pee? They were standing like 10 steps from me, just staring. I didnt know if I should be amazed or frightened...so I was both! I think they were too! :)

Have i blogged about alexis's mom's wedding yet? I cant remember. Well, saturday her mom got married and Alexis and I were the bridesmaids. It was so pretty at her aunt's ranch house...and me and alexis's dresses were so cute! The cake was to die for, music was fun, and we did an AWESOME job decorating their car! When bill saw it some profanity slipped out of his mouth! All in all, it was an awesome night!

I guess thats all I have going on...besides the deep love I have for my krsitine phelps! Have i mentioned how extremely excited I am to have a summer school class with her? if not, I am, and if so, let me remind you! :) She is so incredible and I am so blessed to have her in my life! Anyone who doesnt realize that is a moron!

Well, i better get to bed...alfredo and I are going jogging at 6:30 in the morning....eek!!! au revoir!
