Are you proud of me? I skipped a day on blogging! Way to fight the urge huh?
Well, yesterday Alexis and I got overconfident and decided it would be a good idea to rollerblade in the heat of the day from our apartment to Michael, Derek, Randy, and Stephen's house. For those of you who dont know where that is, they live off Navarro. For those of you who still dont know where that is...it is 3.1 miles away. Now, I know 3.1 miles doesnt sound that difficult, but you have to take into consideration that I havent rollerbladed more than 1 mile in...years! Alexis hasnt rollerbladed more than 1 mile in...umm...ever! She bought her super cool blades yesterday at academy. Just for the record...buying the cheapest of something is not always the best idea. About .2 miles into our adventure I turned around to see her struggling down the sidewalk. She kept getting mad at me for going too fast and I was barely even moving my legs. So, after a short break, we decided to switch blades to see if that made a difference. OH MAN! Did it ever!!! Her wheels barely moved on their own...I had to work my legs like 10 times harder! But, it was a good work out, we made it to michael's house, and hopefully we have started our summer work out regimen!
Today alexis woke me up EARLY (ok it was really at 8 and I had planned on trying to get up at 6:30 all summer...hmm...) anyway...she woke me up and we went to the work out room at melrose. They only have one eliptical machine so we rotated and then we came back home. I watched some TV, played with my kittens, and took a long nap! After my nap alexis woke me up and we went back to academy to see what we can do to make her blades more successful. We are going to work on that later on tonight and hopefully go on another blading adventure!
I also have plans to hang out with russell tonight and possibly play some poker! That would be fun...its been a while. I might be a SUPER NERD and start reading my pols book tonight...that would be if i was REALLY desperate! I better go...a good episode of full house is on! (oh man i need a life!) have a good one! au revoir!
