WHEW! what a stressful time!!! Between work, driving home for easter, spending hours with the most awesome med school grad student I know, easter with the fam, studying for acct, studying for french, NOT SLEEPING, and watching OC I am EXHAUSTED! I cant believe it is already wednesday! man, when your days are jam packed time sure flies!!!
Lets see...saturday when I got off work early I packed my stuff and headed to houston! had a lovely conversation with my mom on the phone in which we ended up screaming and crying at each other and then made up (man, she can get so dramatic!!! ;) then i chatted it up with my brother and found out he is coming to texas this summer...thats the most exciting thing since sliced bread!!! then I went to buy nikki tomlinson a wedding shower present. Bed bath & beyond is right next to where erin works so i thought i would stop by to say hi really quickly and then i would just talk to her at 9 like originally planned. WELL...stopping by for a second turned into like an hour!!! WHOA! it was awesome though. that girl...she is so incredibly amazing. I admire her so so so much...her strenght, her compassion...i SO wish she were my age and still went to A&M!!! but i get to see her on april 24 at nikki's wedding shower and may 8 at nikki's wedding and then over the summer everytime i am in h-town we are DEFINITELY meeting up for a white chocolate mocha and a piece of chocolate cake!!! after that i went to jonathan's to study acct and i got to see his precious neice kaya!!! she is so gorgeous! and noah...what a handful! he wanted me to play planes with him and he ended up breaking one while beating it with the other one! what a terror! but he is cute too. i have decided due to my obsession with kids i should work in the church nursery or at a day care or something. that girl...she is so incredibly amazing.
Sunday i went to church with my mom at their new church...it is pretty awesome! and what a gorgeous building!!! After church we went to Eagle Lake, TX where she was born and we ate an AWESOME country-cooked lunch with her old family-friends! I rarely see them but they are such sweet people!!! But, going there DEFINITELY reminds me of my city heritage! Have you ever walked across a cattle guard in 3 inch heels? NOT an easy task! :) they were laughing at me!!!
After that i drove BACK to college station to study all night for accounting...oh joy...oh bliss. :) But, my plans quickly changed when i saw how comfy my bed was! SO, to be more productive, jonathan and I went to whataburger to study and i edited his paper and read for accounting and at 2 am I went to bed...sort of. I didnt fall asleep until 4 though so that sucked. Monday I got up, emailed my hmwk to my prof, and began the studying madness. I got really spastic because I thought I knew nothing adn was going to fail but jonathan soon reminded me it was time to take my meds! what a loony!!! :) So, i did that, relaxed for an hour or so, and then hit the books again. not for long though cause i had a dr appt at 4:15 which took entirely too long and had to work til 11! so, i didnt get to sleep until like 4 when i accidentally fell asleep studying. Jonathan had falled asleep studying way earlier and when he woke up he saw me asleep on my bedroom floor! so he woke me up at 5:30 so i could take him home and when i got back i studied some more until 7:30 when i fell asleep. alexis woke me up at 9:30 to go to IHOP so...add it all up...and that is 2 nights in a row of 3.5 hours of sleep! no bueno! I went to ihop, went to campus, and took my test...well, SORT of took my test...i barely knew anything and I did awful on the test. But, considering my other 2 tests average to an A and there is retake day AND i have 4 bonus points with a chance for more, I am not worried!
After my test i wanted so badly to sleep but i had to study for french. that was postponed when alexis and michael invited me to eat wings and andi called and wanted to join! so, we picked up togo wings and the 4 of us ate them here! after that andi and i were going to study but we ended up talking for hours! We FINALLY made it to wendy's around 9:45, got our drinks, adn got settled in. we were getting some good studying done and then we got kicked out! who knew it closed at 10??? stupid wendys! so, we went back to her place, studied, chatted, and had an awesome time. I did well on my french test today...I really shouldnt be in french 101! :) After my test i came home and RELAXED!!! Then, the highlight of EVERY wednesday, I got to eat at mcalisters with trav hall!!! the best iced tea and the best guy all in one sitting! When i got home it was time to reaquaint myself with my bed! It felt so good to lay in bed and not feel guilty!!! I chatted with my lovely mommy, my lovely alexis, and my lovely amie!!! we ordered jason's deli, watched american idol, and watched OC. I had to tape OC (which was AWESOME btw) so i moved my tv into the living room. i really should leave it out there...it would stop me from getting distracted in here and from being lame and watching BMW every night, not to mention saved by the bell every morning! :) yeah, thats right, i know the time and channel of all the classics!!! :) I should leave my tv in there...i should leave my tv in there...i should...oh what the heck, i may as well bring it back in here! :)
Tonight i am gtting to bed early cause my eyes and throat hurt so i feel sickness coming on! no bueno! Know what would make me feel better? cleaning! I could reorganize my closet...sanitize my bathroom...change my sheets...go through my bills and file them...oh man, tons of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder stuff to do!!! Tomorrow i am going out with andi and alexis...it is going to rock! then friday is unity dinner which i am SO excited for, midnight yell, and then it is saturday and i get to see my mommy! i wish she would bring my puppy though! i miss allison!!! Did i mention class in there? no? maybe i dont have time! :) my thyroid problems seem to be kicking in :) (wink wink) not really...I am going to be a good girl.
Anyhow, I hope your day was as awesome as mine...my mood is awesome! the sun was shining (maybe a little TOO much :), the birds were chirping, and I got to spend time with some of the most awesome people out there!!! Cant wait for some more kristine-amanda time, some more andi-amanda time, some more sleeping-amanda time, you know, the good stuff! :) i love you all MUCHO and i hope you are having as awesome a week as I am!!! and my horoscope said this month would suck...all the more reason not the believe them! cause this quarter of the year has started off SO much better than the first quarter! its like an economic expansion...oh wow...I am lame...and I am going now out of humiliation. as ryan seacrest would say "blair OUT" :) au revoir
