where to begin? This weekend was incredible! I wish I could say "this was the highlight..." but everything was so good I just cant label one thing as the best! I mean, from the fire to playing smoke or fire, to spending the whole day with jonathan creating a person named Juan Torres who is quite a wonderful person, if I do say so as his creator! :) ok...let me begin...
friday i layed in bed all day and lOVED it! I caught up on my NYPD blue and then andi and I went to target and heb! we discussed whether or not we will still shop at target when we are rich, and we decided definitely yes!!! We got ingredients at HEB for the excellent dinner we were preparing saturday night and we got a table cloth and ice bucket at target! the best part was spending the afternoon with the most beautiful owner of a fightin texas aggie class of '05 aggie ring! It is so pretty! After we finished Patty and Lindsay got in town and oh man was I happy to see them! Their beautiful shining faces in aggieland gives me a glimpse of the awesomeness that will be next year!!! I am counting down the days! We went to taco bell so they could eat (i had already eaten with andi and am glad because they said it was disgusting) and then it was off to the aggie baseball game! We watched them bring home another victory (barely! 1-0 with the one run scored in the second inning) but it was awesome! Teaching them all the cool stuff we do at games and watching their reactions to things such as "pinch his butt, pinch his butt" and "get in your box coach!" was priceless!!! after the game trav joined us for some poker fun! I was winning when lindsay said "dealer calls: ice cream!" so we went to shakes and ended our poker extravaganza!!! When we came home Lindsay thought it would be a good idea for us to do cardio salsa...so, i get it all hooked up and i get in front with linds and patty behind me and i get into it...tapping my toes, flicking my wrists, and shaking those hips! (and oh what mighty hips they are!) when all of a sudden I turn around and the 2 of them are sitting down laughing at me!!! they never even danced at all and let me look like a fool! but, i never mind, and i continued to "dance" to entertain the 3 of them. it was an awesome night.
Saturday the 3 of us all woke up early cause they had somewhere to be and I had a wedding shower to go to. And, let me add, I CANT BELIEVE NIKKI IS GETTING MARRIED!!! That is just TOO weird for me! The shower was great...I had the pleasure of seeing the gorgeous Erin Brzowski, Nikki Tomlinson, soon-to-be-Rhodes, and a few other girls who I went to church with when I was a freshman and they were seniors. Those girls were incredible. (and all incredibly beautiful) I spent a good amount of time hanging out with them so i cant believe that over half of them are married! Dont give in Erin and Charlotte...stay single!!! :) Even scarier was that one of them has an 8 month old daughter! But, the scariness soon left when i saw her beautiful smile...she was so incredibly precious i wanted to steal her. She had just learned to clap and wave, so she waved at everyone and clapped every time someone started laughing. It was so adorable!!! After the shower I came back to College Station, saw Jonathan's WONDERFUL new ring, and went to andi's to start cooking! We had planned to make filet mignons, jalapeno-cilantro fruit salad, parsley potatoes, and green beans. I started chopping and she was peeling...chopping, peeling, etc...it took a while. I dont know how women work AND cook every day! Time kind of got away from us and Andi was rushed to finish getting ready so I finished the meal...and the boys showed up early! First we were not pleased but it proved to be beneficial when I STARTED MY THIRD GREASE FIRE THIS YEAR!!! It wasnt my fault...I just had the steaks on the pan cooking but the burner was too close to the grease (again not my fault, i coudlnt move it) and the grease caught flames!!! I was terrified...starting a fire is never a good thing...and in someone else's kitchen? yeah...no good. Jonathan guided me in putting it out and it worked out well. Dinner turned out to be a success (either that or everyone, including myself, lied to me!) After dinner we had DELICIOUS cheesecake made by andi, and then her and chris left for ring dance! jonathan and I went by his dorm to pick up Pay it Forward and then we came back here to watch it. That didnt end up happening becuase we got into 2 FBI shows...uncovering mysteries...they were awesome. I love those shows. I fell asleep towards teh end of one and next thing I knew it was 9:40 and time to go to work. bleh.
I worked from 10-noon doing markdowns, came home and worked on homewokr with jonathan. We took a small break to drive around scouting out good water to drive through and good offroading locations. We came back, had a few tickle wars that resulted in bruising, and then I went to my store meeting at 7. double bleh. I ventured over to Super Walmart in Bryan after my meeting and had a field day in there! I went with 2 things on my list and left with $60 of merchandise including a trash can, a make up organizer for alexis so her counter is clean, swiffer duster, laundry detergent and...shampoo. I think there were some other things but I cant remmber right now. Oh yeah...one of Russell's battery operated cars for jonathan. Just like at russell's last week, he was entertained for an hour! I almost had to pry it out of his hands to get him working on homework again. And, now...here we are! whew!!! :)
This week isnt too eventful...french oral interviews, turf tests, babysitting this weekend and...LOTS of andi time, melissa time, michelle time, kristine time, russell and lucifer time (dont get the wrong idea, lucifer is his new fish), sleep time...there never is enough time! OH...that reminds me of a saved by the bell when jesse gets addicted to caffeine pills..."never enough time...i wont get into stanford, i'll never get into college, no time, never enough time" wow...what a crazy! (her for saying it or me for remembering it? hard to say really!)
Well, i am beginning to bore myself so you know thats bad!!! hope you all had such an incredible weekend!!! have an awesome week and...ags...7 more days of classes before finals! whoop!!! au revoir
