WHAT A RELIEF! I am registered for summer school and I am all set for next semester. What an ordeal that was...good thing I never have to take summer school again. Did you know that by federal law schools are not allowed to give financial aid to students enrolled in another institution as their primary institution?? Thats stupid!!! So, I called the A&M financial aid office and told them that my $875 loan was not going to cut it for my $2000 summer school and that i need to take summer school. Sooo...he said, well, let me see what I can do...look at your award page again in 10 minutes. SO, I did, and thank you Jesus for always taking care of me...I am set!!! I am registered for 6 hours each session...political science and financial economics during the first session, and public speaking and organization of industry(another econ) second session. I had to make a few alterations to my schedule for next semester but it is all settled and I am taking english 203 online through a community college, econ 452, econ 445, kine 198, french 102, and mgmt 309. I havent decided if I will take mgmt pass/fail or not...bekah says it will be easy.
Speaking of bekah...her dad is such an incredible man. for those of you who dont know, he is a 3 star general in the army and the highest ranking minority in all of the armed forces! He is currently in Iraq and he is SO incredible and such a huge threat to them that there is an award for anyone who finds him! Not that someone getting $15 million for finding him would be good, but that just shows how awesome he is at what he does...bekah, you are incredible for having such an incredible dad!
Again, speaking of bekah, she is so crazy. In accounting today we were talking about the guy she has been in love with off and on since high school. She was like "blah blah blah diego is great blah blah blah i think it is fate..." and then not even ten seconds later she says "OOOO! joseph called!" big grin...hmm...that girl is crazy!!!
Well, I didnt get to blog the other night but I went to the baseball game with alexis and andi and we ran into stephen there. thankfully he saw us and pulled us down to sit by him because we were being screamed at by lots of crazies about how we were blocking the game. Oh please...5 seconds didnt kill anyone. :) unfortunately, the ags lost 0-1, but as the crazy fans said, "they'll still be unemployed when they graduate" (speaking of the team we played....no names mentioned...)
Thanks so much to russell, michelle, brittany, ashley, jonathan, and alexis for IMing/calling me out of concern from my away messages/blog. Lindsey is still unsure of what the outcome will be and doctors are not 100% on anything, but she will be ok...just lots to go through at age 23...or at any age for that matter.
I was so overwhelmed last night and right before jonathan left he was like "oh, i am dunking tomorrow at 8:30 so i want you to come" i slowly shed tears as I looked at my schedule for gap and saw i was supposed to work 3-10:30 missing his dunking. He calmed me down, I called doug and he is off the bad-list cause he is coming in to cover for me for an hour so I can see it! how awesome is he??? So, to cheer me up, jonathan took me to ozona where ralf and ben were watching the rockets/lakers game that we GAVE UP IN THE SECOND HALF and we had an awesome time. I enjoyed listening to those boys complain and vent on certain issues...pretty entertaining. I got home around 12 and stayed up for hours studying...which I need to go do some more of...
This weekend I am staying with 3 kids...one in 9th grade and 2 in 7th grade...while their parents are out of town. I did it last year and i felt like such a soccer mom! I drove around their mom's mini-van, took robert to hockey practice then the ropes course, took maizeanne to a birthday party then somewhere else...their schedules were so conflicting i was driving for 2 days straight! this year it is a more relaxed weekend...NO plans. I was thinking we could swim in their backyard but it is supposed to be raining. What am i supposed to do with them?!?! Maybe they'll want to go see mean girls :)
So, i have work tonight and ring dunking, then an all nighter, then a french oral exam, then errands, then babysitting all weekend, then studying, then a thing with bekah sunday night, then an econ test monday, dr appt monday, another test tuesday, dead week finally, test friday, dr appt friday, wedding saturday, mother's day sunday, final tuesday, final wednesday, AND THE SEMESTER IS OVER MY FRIENDS!!! I am taking off work from may 12-23 and in that time i am going camping in junction, going to be a bridesmaid in my second mom's wedding, and relax before the madness of summer school begins. please dont make me regret summer school! anyhow, i am pretty stressed (and need to pick up my paxil refill so i can breath again) and I dont know how much I will blog in the next week and a half, but after finals it will be back to the dedication!!! I cant believe I am over halfwaythrough with college in 2 weeks!!! ahhh!!!
well, french is calling my name and i wish i could respond but I dont know how to speak it very welll...so i better go practice before tomorrow! hope you all have an excellent weekend, enjoy march to the brazos and '04: enjoy your bus ride home! congrats guys!!! au revoir!!!
