What a fun night! Alexis, Andi and I ventured over to Russell's where he lead us to his friend Tom's house and we played some texas hold 'em! Alexis and Andi were playing conservative but not me, I bet almost half my money on the first hand cause I had a flush with ace on the table, king on the table, and jack in my hand...what are the odds someone else will have the queen in their hand? Well, someone did. So I was behind from the get-go. I won a little, lost a little, and then went all in and lost. But, alexis left early and gave me her $4.80 in chips (buy in was $5 so i was almost back up to the top) and I played with that. I got pretty strong and then another incredible hand...2 aces on the table, ace nine in hand, and a nine on the table...full house baby. Everyone was going big and the pot looked to be like $10 or so...and then someone calls and turns his cards...full house, aces and TENS!!! OH MAN was i bumbed!!! So i sucked it up a little there, won some more, lost some more, all in all it was an awesome night. I met some cool people and played a good game of cards. NExt time I need not be so scared!!!
Today was acct retake day. I decided to retake tests 2 and 3. I think I did awesome on 2...actually, i am pretty sure I got a 100!!! But, on test 3 I am not quite as confident...I think maybe I got an 80 or so. But, i think that still gives me an A so i am excited! Too bad stat didnt go quite as well last week. Stat sucks! :) That somehow makes it all better! :)
Tomorrow Patty and Lindsay are coming in town to go to an Aggie baseball game with me! Cole and Travis might meet us there and it should be awesome!!! If Jonathan gets back in time maybe he will want to go too! Ooo...maybe we can play some good ol' hold 'em afterwards! It is so addicting!
Tuesday was a good day...Alfredo called me at 6:30 to tell my hi and just to chat, and then Brian called me at 10 just to say hi and chat! I love my family!!! Being in so many different places is hard!!! I miss when we were little kids and hated each other! :) Not really, I like getting along with my brothers and them not thinking they have to protect me from the world but still getting protective when people hurt me. It is a happy medium. :) Its funny...when Jonathan broke up with me for that 24 hour period last year Brandon said "if he doesnt come back to you and realize he was a moron then I'll hate him forever and I will be willing to beat him up anytime, but in the event thast he does come back, I still think he is the coolest guy ever" it was pretty funny cause I knew he really liked him, he just wanted to hate him for hurting me.
Well, it is 2 am and I have class in 7 hours and, well, french has been neglected for a while. :) I better actually go to bed so i can get up and go and please my prof since I will have her again next semester! (i think) Hope you all had a fun thursday night and have an excellent weekend! Congrats again to those who got their aggie rings today...I look at you with envy! :) au revoir
