MY INTERNET IS UP AND RUNNING! Woo Hoo to that! So, lets see...update! My french test went as I thought...I got an 87. I think I still have an A, seeing as this test doesnt weigh as heavily as the 2 I got A's on and my quiz average is an A...so its all good. I finished my econ assignment about 5 minutes before it was due on Monday...those assignments are so in depth! It took my like 8 hours to complete...minus the fact that I sat here for about an HOUR trying to figure out how to solve k*/k to the .3 exponent = 2...Jonathan finally reminded me I just have to subtract the exponents to divide and was left with k to the .7 exponent...wow, my math skills have really left! :) Last week at lunch with Travis he was telling me about his math test and how hard it was...differential equations, math 330 or something...I said "i got an A in that" saddest part: HE BELIEVED ME! He said "well, I didnt study..." and i was like "Travis...you took calculus with me in high school, you know better than to think I got an A in differential equations!" Silly travy.
My turf test was today and about an hour before I would have needed to leave for class jen called me and said "So, none of us (speaking of her, terry, and james) are going to take the test today" WHAT?!?! Well, turns out we can take it online which means we can all 4 sit there and look through notes...so...we are doing that on sunday! Yay for a better grade, but not yay for the fact that I sat up all night minus the hour between 2-3 and the 20 minute naps every hour or so...grrr. :) I have an econ test friday and after my test online sunday I am done! (for a week) I dont have any tests again until my accounting exam on april 13! WHOOP! This semester is going by so quickly...but then again, I say that every semester which really leads me to think it isnt going by fast at all, we just imagine or wish time would pass slower...except for when we want time to pass quickly...:)
So, I am coming to terms with the fact that I am, once again, in need of a job. No, i did not get fired or quit. However, when I get 6 hours a week plus 10 on call hours which never get used, I am making no money. I am applying at the Aggieland Visitors Center and hope to get that one...i could work all summer giving tours to high school kids and welcoming visitors! Wouldnt that be fun? I really hope I get it. if not, it is back to the mall and the restaurants to turn in another 20 applications. man, job hunting is NOT fun!
Since my studying finally took a break today my room got the attention it has been lacking...I cleaned, organized, spent some quality time with my bed and my TV...all is well! :) My clean clothes are now in the closet instead of hanging over the back of my chair, my lamp that is officially broken is being stored in my closet, and everything is tidy. I organized my books, wiped down my desk, and filed some bills. Wait...did I forget to take my medicine today? THAT would explain the sudden panic over the pig sty I live in! Ok ok...so it wasnt really a pig sty and I probably could have survived without cleaning it, but it looks so nice and it calmed my nerves. :) It is funny how much a difference my medicine makes...I am such a looney tune! Since I got on my thyroid medicine I havent missed a day of taking paxil becuase the thyroid medicine is kind of necessary so I never forget...that means I never forget about paxil either! But I forgot today... Actually, I better go take it now...better late than never! Plus it will allow me to focus on studying instead of cleaning my bathroom...eww...maybe I should clean my bathroom first since the last time I cleaned it was the day I got back from spring break...yeah, I'll do that THEN take meds, THEN study...good plan, good plan.
Wow...sorry for all the rambling, i guess I am just THAT excited to have my internet back! Jen informed me there is hotness by the volleyball courts so I may have to make a detour over there to play with her and amie for a little while. Have an awesome tuesday, despite the heat outside! :) Au revoir!
