Ok ok...Bachelorette caused MUCH discomfort in my heart. Matthew was perfect: gorgeous, sensitive, went to A&M, gorgeous, atheletic, stable, gorgeous...and Ian was deformed, unemployed, kissed like a fat kid eating the last cookie, deformed...And who did she choose? Ian. So, when she tells Matthew that though he is perfect she doesnt love him, he goes on to show his perfection by being supportive, sweet, comforting, everything I WOULDNT be in that situation...and in all my anger I am screaming at the TV. Then Alexis brings something to my attention: I would probably be doing the same thing. If I were on TV having to pick between Matthew and someone else, America would probably want to murder me as I sent Matthew home crying...so, though I disagree with Meredith completely, I understand love does weird things to ya...but Ian?!?! Ok...ok...I support her...
Today was very productive! I went to French and convinced my prof to drop 2 absences (dont go thinking 2 is a lot, we go 5 days a week), I studied French a lot (some productive studying, some not so productive studying as Alexis tried to speak french with me...) and I studied TONS of econ! I dont think I have studied for one subject that long in...days! I am so sick of tests it is unreal! I have econ on friday, short break before french AGAIN next friday, and then another short break before acct the next week...then a nice long break! My next test isnt until the Monday after spring break! Yay! (of course by the time acct is done it wont be so far away)
Jonathan came over after his classes...Alexis and I were getting a lot of studying done (her for math, me for econ) when he came in and moved her over to take a nap. I was not in the best of moods and I was having a rough day and really wanted him to come over. Thanks Jonathan...hope you enjoyed your nap! We watched American Idol, OC (ryan...dont ever kiss her again!), and then after he left I watched the end of bachelorette... "oh no...dont start that again" (~jungle book)
What else...hmm...nothing too thrilling really. I barely have a job (6 hours a week doesnt say much and sure doesnt pay rent)...classes are going quite well I believe...I think right now i have 2 A's (stat and french) undetermined in acct (an 87 on test, sometimes and 85 avg is an A but we wont know until the end) A in econ, but that is based on 2 homeworks and no test, and no grades in turf...so, my 4.0 is on its way! I'll keep ya posted after my test friday and after my turf test is posted! But, as long as acct and econ are good I am not worried...the rest are totally do-able! Yay! I hope to go home this weekend, at least for one day. I miss my Patty! Well, why stop there...i miss my julie, my lindsay, my sarah, my jimmy, my mommy, my allison...I miss home! :)
If anyone knows french and would like to help me practice speaking it I would much appreciate it! I need to get more confident in it and pick up the accent better! I know the stuff and I can write it all out, but speaking it and making it sound pretty is tough...ask Alexis, she knows! :)
Well, je suis fatigue et j'ai le classe du francais a neuf-heure dix du matin, alors, je voudrais aller au lit! How was that? :) (i said: I am tired and I have french class at 9:10 in the morning, so I want to go to bed!) au revoir!
