In french today we were watching a film of all the historical things...you know, arc de triumph, le toure eiffel, le louvre, etc...well, with all of those internationally famous monuments, I was thinking...what are we known for? I am not a history person...nor am I into anything like this so if we have huge monuments other than the statue of liberty, i dont know of them...i mean, when people think of France they think of Paris, and when they think of Paris they think of those monuments. what does the rest of the world think of when United States is on their mind? McDonalds? Hollywood? New York? Washington??? Please lemme know cause i dont really know what we have to offer...besides me of course!!!

Today at the Bush Library I watched a very interesting and informative film on George Bush. Born in 1924 and married before his 21 birthday, he was an economics major at Yale!!! isnt that awesome? So, I decided I really really want to meet him, and then jen informed us that she would like to be the next first lady. (maybe not the NEXT...) well, as we are discussing her being the first lady I was reminded of 10 second prior to that conversation when we were looking at all the Gifts of the State...(or something) and she was like "these are teh kind of things that if i ever got in my stocking i would just toss them aside like, 'uh, thanks...???'" nice jen...real nice...good luck to ya in teh white house!!!

well, i am off to eat some dinner, practice some french composition, practice some accounting, go to a soccer game, and practice some acct some more! au revoir!
