Well, all the holidays are officially over and now I am back to living on my own in my apartment...all alone, a lone wolf, just a loner...all alone...WHAT'S A WOLF GOT TO DO TO GET A HUG AROUND HERE?!?! (10 points to you if you know where that quote is from)
New Years was...interesting. I swear, it is WAY more fun being the sober person who takes care of all the drunk people. Until that "taking care of" consists of cleaning vomit off the carpet, taking out hoards of trash, washing millions of towels, doing 3 loads of dishes, putting all the furniture back in its place, and maintaining a constant 20 candles burning in our guest room...ALL BY YOURSELF!!! Whew, that was a long sentence! And, btw, it took FOREVER to do all those things!!! But, that's the price you pay when you live alone.
I worked tonight and picked up my schedule for next week...a whopping 3.5 hours and 11 on call hours. Not pleased. I asked my manager if hours get better and he said "Well, we have talked about it and we hope you will stay after the holidays becuase you are such a hard worker. The lowest sales of the year are in the first 3 weeks of January so we are tihgt on hours, but by the time school starts you should start seeing 20 per week again. Can you stay?" So...if I can rough it for a few weeks I should be ok. That means NO NEW CLOTHES, NO EATING OUT, SPARINGLY USING DETERGENT, etc...hope it goes well!!! I should be getting a HUGE refund in the next week or 2 so that will help ease the tension too...I hate finances. Cant wait til i have that $100,000 paying job...HA. when is that gonna happen? 2015??? Man...that's a LONG time away!!!
My advice to anyone who is currently not living in an apartment...THERE ARE WAY CHEAPER PLACES IN BRYAN!!! Or even places that dont look as appealing from the outside, you can make the inside fabulous...and you will save yourself a pretty penny!!! Melrose is DEFINATELY making a killing off all the poor college kids!!!
Well, I dont have anything interesting to say...I mean, I live alone and have no money so the most exciting thing that goes on here is Finding Nemo, and we all know I have worn out the conversation of that. SO, I am going to go try to make a meal out of lettuce shreds, bread & butter pickles, koolaid, moldy bread, sour milk, and beer...wish me luck! adios
