Well...Christmas is over and I am back in College Station for the time being. I had an excellent Christmas...it was so great to have my whole family there. On Christmas Eve I didnt get off work until 7 (grr) so I barely made it home in time to head back to the other side of town for church. Brandon & Lindsey met us at church, and so did Jonathan!!! It was really great to all be together in church again...who knows how long it has been since that has happened. After church Jonathan wanted me to come over to his house so he could give me my presents. He made me sit on the floor by his bed while he brought me presents, one by one. First he gave me a framed picture of him in his uniform...I have been asking for that for a year!!! Woo hoo!!! I love it! I rearranged my whole hutch just so I could see it everyday!!! Then he gave me some food products he bought at Woody's Smokehouse in Centerville, TX. SOO YUMMY. Bread and butter pickles ROCK MY WORLD!!! (I grew up going to woody's every time we drove from houston to dallas) Then he gave me a really pretty brown jewelry box that I had showed him I liked about a month ago. After that he took me downstairs into the kitchen where he lead me to 5 candles he MADE for me!!! First of all, I LOVE candles. Second, he MADE them for me!!! They are so awesome!!! You will have to come over to see them!!! After the candles we went back upstairs and he gave me a box from Things Remembered. Inside there were three things that all matched...they were all heart shaped with a little heart on them (the little heart has tiny crystals in it) The 3 things were a ring stand, a clock, and a mini jewelry box which we both thought should be used for my beautiful diamond necklace I got last year!!! The jewelry box has my full name engraved on it! So awesome!!! You will have to come see all of that! Christmas day exchanged presents with my family and then went to Jonathan's to give his parents their present, and then back to my house for fondue...my FAVORITE meal of all time!!! mmm mmm good!!! I had to get to bed fairly early becuase I had to drive back to College Station at like...8:30! grr. I got off work last night at 8:15 and went shopping...I got a pair of pants and 3 shirts for $60!!! Awesome work! The pants and 2 of the shirts are going to be my new years eve outfit! I am so excited! And I have the most awesome shoes to match!!!
Speaking of, does anyone have any exceptional plans for new years eve? I dont have any plans as of now...working on it. But, I do have a stellar outfit!!! :) I dont really have any plans for the rest of the break...work work work while my boyfriend goes on 2 vacations. On January 6 he is going to Lake Charles, LA to stay in the Isle of Capri Casino and throw away (or bring home) hundreds of dollars! (that was my christmas present to him) Hopefully he wears the nice shirt and belt I bought for him specially for that night! When he gets home from that on the 7 he has 3 days before he gets to go skiing with his family! I find it quite unfair that Alexis gets to go skiing with her boyfriend's family when they have been together for 1 year and 2 months...if you add up the 2 times I have been with Jonthan that is 2 years and 9 months...I think I have paid my dues! BUT...no...I am stuck working at the Gap in College Station and coming home to an empty apartment day in, day out. Eh well...what can ya do.
Well, I am sure I am boring you to death, and I have a couple of things to do before work at 1 so I better be going. Hope you all had a very merry Christmas and I hope you have an excellent new years! Adios!
