Well, it is official: the worst semester of my life has come to a close. I actually pulled off an amazing test grade on my econ final, we will see if it is good enough to give me my B. Seeing as i only put about 8-10 hours of studying in for that test, I should have definately made the effort ALL semester and gotten an A in the class. No excuse. I am pathetic. BUT...next semester I swear...no more 2.8s for me (though this is my first one...) I plan to make above a 3.5 and if I dont...I dont want to know what will happen.
I worked at Gap tonight and the RUDEST person was there...if any of us attempted to help her she wouldnt let us becuase "there is another lady already helping me" I swear she was in there for 45 minutes and Brooke was waiting on her hand and foot...right when she would come out of the fitting room Brooke would be back over there helping her. When it came time to check out she had a pair of pants and she said "these are the slim fit, I found these BY MYSELF WITHOUT YOUR HELP" And Brooke said, "I am sorry ma'm, I didnt know you wanted that kind" Then she said (referring to the hottie standing by the cash register) "Is he a customer?" and Brooke said "No, he is an employee who is not on the clock" She said "Well, you paid more attention to him than you did to me!" (which was SO not true) And then...the funniest part...she said "I need to know your name becuase a week ago my husband called this store and made an order for 6 pairs of jeans but I dont want your store to get credit." Brooke said, "Was it an online order?" and she said "I just told you we ordered over the phone from YOUR STORE" and Brooke said "well ma'm, we are not allowed to hold merchandise that has been paid for so the only way we could have done that is if we did a charge-send or rdered it online, so either it is already in the mail to you, or we didnt get the credit anyway because online gets the credit" She got SOO pissed and stormed off...RUDE!!!
So, Jen inspired me to make new years resolutions (but not NEAR as many as hers, and slightly more attainable)
~I will cook healthier foods
~I will STAY CAUGHT UP with reading for all my classes
~I will study for min. of 3 days before a test
~I will not spend all my money at Gap
~I will buy more movies
~I will not allow myself to control my roommates :)
~I will be the best sales person i can be!
...basically I am going to be better at EVERYTHING than I was this year!!! Keep me accountable for it!
Well, it is 11:45, both of my roommates are asleep, my boyfriend is not answering his phone, we have NO food, and I am SO awake. Maybe I will go to HEB...hmm...
As I already said, have a safe trip home and a very Merry Christmas!!! Call and visit me often!!! adios
