What does it take to be #1?

Well...I officially have a sister-in-law!!! The wedding turned out a lot prettier than I had imagined, though i STILL will not pick PLATINUM as my wedding color, but it was a wonderful ceremony. The day was going perfectly...you know, the crazy mother-of-the-groom taking photos of the bride while in her pink thong and white boustier (yeah, that is MY MOM), the bride getting last minute jitters and requiring her future sister-in-law to pull her out of the bridal room, the congregation not having patience enough to wait for the ushers to seat them, the best man getting the rings stuck on his finger, you know...the usual. And then was the reception...that cake was AWESOME!!! I want one just like it!!! My favorite part of the 3 hours of festivities is when the bride throws the bouquet. I have only caught it once (when I was 7) out of the 8 that I have been to but I always seem to think that it is coming straight to me. So...I got in what I thought was the best spot, I informed Lindesy of my location, I threatened all the other single women (and my gosh there were more than EVER!!! stupid hoes! :) and then it happened...1-2-3!!! The bouquet was gracefully thrown INTO THE LIGHT FIXTURE WHICH FELL, SHATTERED, AND SCARRED THE INNOCENT PHOTOGRAPHER STANDING BENEATH IT!!! Oh man...it was priceless!!! Poor Lindsey! Ah, thats something you'll warn your children about! Anyhow, on teh second go round the bouquet ONCE AGAIN did not come to me so let's make it 1 out of 9 that I have caught!!! :( Someone please aim for me cause I love flowers!

What else...my mom and I went to a major shoe sale at Foley's on Thursday. The Foleys at northline mall in Houston hosts a major sale twice a year where all the clearance shoes from around the city are sent and marked down to 80% off!!! With a coupon that makes the price of the shoes 10% what they originally were! We got 8 pairs of shoes (4 each) for $102.89!!! WHOA!!! Gotta love it! Cant wait to wear them!!!

I got the joy of seeing my cousin Chelsea this weekend...I wish we lived closer to each other!!! I love her! She played with my hair for AN HOUR on Saturday (not the only reason I love her...wink wink) and she styled it SO pretty! Too bad she wont be here on Friday to do it for me for BQ Ball. OH, btw, BQ Ball is on friday!!! Britany, I need your dress!!! If anyone has black dress shoes lemme know!!! :) I am probably the least excited I have ever been about getting dressed up...maybe second to my mom's wedding. ba-dum-bum CHING!!! :) I hope I made those sounds correctly.

Well, I better run...I have a test tomorrow that I need to study for and the trash needs to be taken out. Adios me amigos!!!
