It is 11:00 and I have a class in 30 minutes...cant get up the discipline to go...oops! :) I went on Monday and was reminded how extremely GAY that class is! We are assigned essays to read (the class is engl, btw) and then we discuss the essays in class the next time...BUT...our writing assigments are NEVER over our reading assignments, and our grade is solely made up of our writing assignments. Someone please tell me why I should spend my time reading those when I could be doing more important things...studying, sleeping, BLOGGING...:)

Yesterday was a GREAT day! :) I actually GOT UP for logic, and was so glad I did, cause I got a 90 on my test! WOOHOO. Then I got to eat lunch with Trav again...always a pleasure! Anyhow, he told me how the conversation from last week really went and I PROMISED not to publish it, so I cant, but I want you all to know it is WAY funnier than what I had originally thought! :) After lunch Jonathan and I made a trip to Navasota...
In Navasota there is an Episcopal camp which belongs to the Diocese of Texas and I grew up going to church retreats and summer camps there...it is called Camp Allen. When my dad died he was cremated, and he wanted his ashes spread by the cross at Camp Allen, so that makes the camp that much more special to me. I have not been there in about a year, and I have never taken anyone with me. Brian used to go every year on my dad's birthday, and brandon always takes his girlfriends there (that must be like 10 people or something). I dont know if jen ever went...but I have never had to strength to 1.) ask someone to go with me, 2.) actually go with someone. I have wanted to ask Jonathan for a while, but it is so hard for me...I finally got up the nerve on Sunday when I was driving back from Houston and passed the turnoff on Hwy 6. Guess what? He said yes! I dont know if it was acting or true, but he was delighted! It took like 40 minutes to get there, so we didnt have much time before his next class, but we walked out by the lake and the cross, we talked a little...and basically I just was full of happiness. Ironic huh? Never though visiting there would bring me joy. But it meant so much to me that Jonathan went with me, and he was so interested and understanding...I dont even think I bored him!!! :) You may argue, but I believe Camp Allen is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in my life. the trees are so large and plentiful, the lake is so calm...it is so peaceful. Thank you jonathan for going with me. (though I dont think he reads this...)
After we got back from there Kara and I went to Houston to get Amanda a birthday present. I cant reveal where we went or it will give it away, but it was SO fun!!! We stayed there entirely too long, sat in Houston traffic for an hour, and missed the showing of Finding Nemo at the clubhouse, but it was worth it to shop with my klara!!! :)
Speaking of Finding nemo...if it doesnt come today I might shoot through the roof!!! AHHH I want to see it so bad! If it does come today, please feel free to come over anytime and watch it...I will be glad to put it in! :) That movie rocks!
Congratulations to Amanda Trimble...November 5, 2003 Matalyn Dawn Trimble enters the world...Amanda is going to be the BEST aunt ever (until I become one, of course) Congrats hun...cant wait to hold the precious baby!!!
Well, i have bored you enough and if I am skipping class I need to be productive to make myself feel better so I'll be going now. adios!
