I LOVE BABIES! That's all I can say about that! On Wednesday, Nov 5, Matalyn Dawn Trimble was born and Amanda became an aunt! woo hoo! On thursday I went to the hospital to visit her and oh my gosh...she is PRECIOUS!! I have fallen in love with a one-day old baby! I swear...I cant wait for someone in my family to have a baby. BUT...since no one in my family is ever going to be mature enough/financially stable enough, I guess I will be the first to have one and that wont be for a LONG time. :( no baby. oh well, life moves on. :)
I had an awesome weekend! I went to a movie with Jonathan on friday...scary movie 3. I had already seen it, but he wanted to spend the night with the love of his life...ME! :) (oh ok...so he was excited about seeing pamela anderson and michael jackson too...) After the movie, sadly, he left to go to Oklahoma. :( I came back to Melrose 1524, the best place to live, and did some cleaning before I headed to h-town to visit some of the best friends a girl could ask for. I love you Patty, Lindsay, Julie and Sarah! Congrats on finishing your last marching season, btw! Alexis and I drove to the football game in separate and cars and she left early which turned out to be better bc Mrs Cunningham needed to talk to me and it wouldnt have worked out so well if Alexis was there.
Me and Ham talked for about 30 minutes in the parking lot about her problems...she is going through some tough times. For those of you who dont know Ham, she was the "youth specialist" at my high school, my grief group leader, and truly one of my best friends. But, her being the therapist, it is hard to think she has problems too. After talking to her I decided I needed to visit her before coming back today bc she really needed someone. So, we left the stadium and I went to a high school sleepover...it was a BLAST. I was of course the only college person there, but i had SO much fun. I love my friends...and cant wait till some of them are at aTm next year! We stayed up far too late, i fell asleep during a movie, and then went to church this morning. After church I went by Ham's house and we talked for 3 hours. Our talking consisted of me being the best listener I coudl be and repaying her the favor since she listened to all my petty high school problems for 4 years! She is the greatest and I cant believe some of the crap she has had to deal wiht lately.
Well, in 6 days my oldest brother is getting married...holy freaking crap...wow. that is CRAZY! I thought he'd be last to get married...oh well! God bless their marriage!
I am off to bed...got a stress-free week to prepare for! :) adios!
