I hope everyone survived their Thanksgiving and that the turkey was as good for you as it was for me! Well, actually the turkey wasnt all that great for me seeing as I'm not so much a fan, but the stuffing was INCREDIBLE!!! So it was a success.

Speaking of success...the opposite of that is failure. Speaking of failure, that is the only word that describes Friday. BUT...this time, there is NO pointing the finger at the 12th man because I was more there than I have ever been! I lost my voice, got extremely pissed, and honestly believed we would/could win. Saddest part...we could have. We were down by 5, the momentum was amazing, and (as seen too late in the 4th quarter to count) Reggie has an incredible arm. Oh wait...too bad he never USES it. But...I am NOT getting into the game or my rage will come back out.

So, all growing up I never knew the different candles on the Advent wreath symbolized something different. but, in church this morning I learned they do...and this week's candle represents hope. So, I am going to try to remain hopeful all week long, very positive, and remember God brings hope to my life.

What else...OH YEAH. I am awake right now...1:15 am...because I have a 2000 word paper due in 10 hours and I only have 1640 words! YIKES! Plus, this paper needs to be superb and I need a most excellent grade on it...hmm...maybe waiting until the last minute really ISNT a good idea. whoda thunk it.

Well, it is officially December...and our Christmas tree is officially STOCKED with presents. A little early I know, but it is so fun to buy presents for others. The only 2 presents missing from under the tree are from Jen to kara and from me to amanda. I am giving Amanda the coolest present in the world...if you dont already know about it, ask me and I'll tell ya (unless your name is amanda dawn twimble) Anyhow, it requires lots of work and I havent completed it yet...but hopefully this week it will be done!!! Woo hoo.

Tonight Alexis and I were making dinner for 8...WOW. I made chicken fried steak and corn, alexis made green beans and mashed potatoes, and the gravy was a joint effort. If you ever make gravy from scratch DO NOT put 1/2 cup of flour...TAKES FOREVER!! Anyhow, we started (ok ok...this time I started, but last time it was her fault...) ANOTHER grease fire. After this one died out, I realized "We have an electric skillet with potential to hold more than twice the amount of this one...hmmm" It only took us 2 grease fires to realize it. That wouldnt be so bad except for the fact that last time we used that skillet...but fr the gravy instead!!! I swear, sometimes JOnathan says it best when he says "Sometimes you just dont demonstrate your intelligence level very well" HA. too funny.

Well, better get back to my paper...lots to do and want to sleep! Adios!
