HOWDY!!! Its been a while...oops! Things have gotten a little hectic around here trying to patch up fights, finish the semester, come up with money, and plan the holidays...whew, makes my head spin!
So...this weekend was AWESOME! Friday was BQ Ball...well, lets start before that...
I was walking on campus, minding my own business as usual, when a very tall male intentionally bumped into me. I looked over to see none other than Reggie McNeal!!! WHOA! He must have thought he knew me cause this is how the conversation went:
Reggie: Hey! What's up?
Me: Not much...u?
Reggie: Oh nothing. You goin to class?
Me: No, I am done for the day...headed home.
Reggie: Oh man! Wish I was done! What are your plans tonight?
Me: I am going to BQ Ball
Reggie: Awesome! Have fun. I'll see ya later!
UMMM...yeah...I'll see you next friday while you are on the field and I am in the stands...it was so odd! but, I just pretended we were friends for that 2 minute convo...someone had to have seen it and thus thought I was cool. WOO HOO!
So, friday was BQ Ball! It was so much fun. I enjoyed it lots better than last year for some reason! And thanks for the dress brit...it was AWESOME and I got SO many compliments! Also, I got to see Patty. That girl...i swear. she BARELY wore make up, had her hair done normal, a simple black dress, and looked STUNNING. I would KILL for her looks. Alexis pulled off a dress that could have been seen as scandelous and looked ravishing...so that was killer too! And jen...my GOSH...her dress was one that hugs to your body, and on me would have been a LITTLE too showy of my every little curve (curve=nice word for "fat rolls") Props to jen!!! Actually...props to all 3 of them! Saturday we went to dinner and saw Cat in teh hat...it was cute! Definately not oscar worthy, but good. :)
Tonight my roommates and I (yes...ALL 4 of us!!!) went to Penny's Diner in Hearne Texas, "The crossroads of Texas, population 4,672" WHOA! It was AWESOME! It looked like a shiny trailer!!! We sat at the little bar and I had the BEST chocolate milkshake ever!!! I almost bought a mug, but it was freaking $5!!! I'll save it for the next trip cause I am SURE we'll be going back! It is ony about 25 miles north on Hwy 6, for those of you jealous folk who want to copy us!
Well, hopefully tomorrow I will get an interview from one of the 6 places i have outstanding applications at...Victoria's Secret (STILL), Express, Aggieland Outfitters, Wicks n Sticks, Hallmark, and Gap. Yep, you read correctly...GAP...the place I never wanted to step foot into again. THAT is how desparate I am right now. wow. SO...I hope to be employed by Friday!!! wish me luck!
I better run...have to get up in like 7 hours or so...night!
